These are different classifications of tequilas created by the CRT in Mexico. A Blanco tequila cannot be aged for more than 60 days. The vast majority of blancos are bottled directly following distillation without going into barrels at all. Our Luna Blanco is uniquely rested in oak barrels for a lunar quarter to create sweeter tasting notes and a sippable blanco tequila without using sweeteners to add flavor. A Reposado tequila is barrel-aged between 2-12 months. Traditionally reposados are aged in former whiskey barrels. Our Rosa Reposado is one of a kind and aged in former French rosé wine barrels.

Our methodical, time consuming process (no diffusers here!) starts with the high-quality mature agave we select for Inspiro Tequila that is cooked in an autoclave . The juices are extracted using a roller mill and we then ferment in stainless steel tanks using two proprietary yeast strains. The tequila is twice distilled in stainless pot stills with copper coils – keeping only the best part of the juice. Our tequilas are stabilized for at least thirty days before going into barrels for resting or aging.

That perfect tequila did not exist, so Mara set out to create an additive-free, great tasting ultra-premium tequila with a female consumer in mind.
